Joining St John's Wood CC

The club was formed in 1951 by members of a working mans club in NW8. We have had many home grounds in the past including Regent's Park, Swakeley Manor (a Private Manor house in Ickenham), Uxbridge C.C, Hillingdon C.C and most recently, the Wilf Slack Memorial Ground in Finchley.

From 2007, home will the The London Marathon Playing Fields in Greenford. Home matches take place every third week of the season.

Away matches are generally in places that are all easily reachable via public transport and if they aren't, one of the drivers provides a shuttle service from the station closest to the away venue to the pitch to ensure everybody gets there on time.

The club has always played its matches on a Sunday and only ever friendlies. However, the games are always highly competitive but played in the right spirit.
