Welcome to the website of St. John's Wood Cricket Club. "The Wooders" are a well established team (2008 is the 58th anniversary of the club being founded). "The Wood" have always played sociable Sunday friendly fixtures in and around London's suburbs and the Home Counties. A new home ground has been secured for 2008. The London Marathon Playing Fields in Birkbeck Avenue in Greenford will host a number of St.J.W.C.C Fixtures.
The club has a healthy backbone of English players and a quirky twist of Antipodean players! Every single club member plays the game as it should be played, ie to be enjoyed. We expect our opponents to adopt the same attitude.
Please take the time to look around the site and by becoming a registered user you get the benefit of discovering lots of useful and a fair amount of useless information about our highly motivated and trained crack squad!
